He is currently involved in the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) programme for Indian cities at ICCT. His research interests include air quality models and management, health risk assessment, and the economic costs of air pollution. Prior to joining ICCT, he was part of Programme Management Unit to the Government of Bihar facilitating effective implementation of City Clean Air Action Plans under the National Clean Air Program (NCAP), GoI. He has also worked at CSIR-NEERI, GoI where he was part of several projects including air quality monitoring, analysis, and pollutant dispersion modelling.
